Rugby Connect (known as the Trytons) commences Sunday 6 May 2018 and will be held from 9-10am at Koola Park, East Killara. The season concludes on Sunday 19 August 2018.
Rugby Connect is a specialised rugby union program for children with special needs. The program is suitable for children of all abilities between the ages of 5 – 17 years. The children will be grouped according to their ability and will participate in skill-based activities aimed at improving their individual skills, coordination, fitness and team work. The Trytons participants are professionally coached by staff or trained volunteers with an understanding of the abilities and limitations that each child with special needs may encounter. The program is run by Sydney Junior Rugby Union with the assistance of the Australian Rugby Union and NSW Rugby.
The 2018 program will take place on Sunday’s of Term 2 and 3 of the school calendar for a 1 hour session.

Registration includes professional coaching, full playing kit (jersey, shorts, socks), ARU player insurance, welcome giftpack and post-season celebration. The Trytons also participate in the Junior club march past at a Waratahs match. Cost is $100 (inc.GST) or $50 for returning players (nouniform). The NSW Active Kids voucher of $100 can also be used.
