Osaka has 2 airports. We are flying into the domestic airport, (Itami) which is closer to Kawanishi.

Thursday 24 September

 

5:00pm           Assemble near Qantas Check In Counter at Kingsford Smith Airport Terminal 1.  

 

Dress:             Boys - Polo Shirt, Lindfield Cap and Lindfield Track pants, Tour Hoodie

                        Parents – Polo Shirt, Tour Hoodie, Lindfield Cap and Jeans

Carry on:        Tour Back Pack

Luggage:        Tour Bag

 

08:40pm         Depart Sydney QF 0025

 

 

Friday 25 September

 

05.30am         Arrive Tokyo. 

 

10.30am         Depart Tokyo JL 0113

 

11:40am         Arrive at Itami Airport, Osaka – you will be greeted by your host family and luggage will be taken to their home.

 

We will be taken by private bus to Universal Studios (you will be purchasing our own food, drinks etc).

 

07:30pm         Leave Universal Studios and return to Kawanishi and host family home (approx. 1 hour).

 

Dress:             Boys – Tour Polo, Lindfield Cap, shorts/jeans

                        Parents – shorts or jeans and Lindfield Polo and Cap (wet weather jacket if required)

 

 

Saturday 26 September

 

9am- 3pm     Kawanishi Gala Day #1

 

                        vs Kawanishi Rugby School

                        vs Matsuyama Rugby School

                        vs Hojo Shonen Rugby School

                        vs Nishinomiya Koto Junior Rugby Club

 

Dress:             Boys - Rugby Kit

                        Parents – shorts or jeans and Lindfield Polo and Cap (wet weather jacket if required)

 

6.30pm           Welcome Party

 

Cultural Performance, please bring your props

 

Dress:             Boys – Polo Shirt and Jeans

                        Parents – Collared business shirt, business casual. 

                        Officials - White Collared Shirt and Lindfield Tie

 

 

Sunday 27 September

 

9am-3.30pm Kawanishi Gala Day #2

 

                        vs Kawanishi Rugby School

                        vs Higashiosaka Rugby School

                        vs Itami Rugby School

 

Dress:             Boys - Rugby Kit

                        Parents shorts or jeans and Lindfield Polo and Cap (wet weather jacket if required)

 

Evening         Time and dinner with host family

 

 

Monday 28 September

 

8am- 8pm     1 Day Bus trip and sightseeing in Kyoto  (including lunch and dinner)

 

                        Kinkaku-ji (Temple) ‘the Golden Pavilion’

                        Ryoan-ji  (Temple)

                        Toei Kyoto Studio Park

 

Dress:             Boys – Tour Polo, Lindfield Cap, shorts/jeans

                        Parents – shorts or jeans and Lindfield Polo and Cap (wet weather jacket if required)

 

 

Tuesday 29 September

 

8am- 5pm     Sightseeing bus to Himeji Castle and Craft Museum (incl lunch)

                       

Dress:             Boys – Tour Polo, Lindfield Cap, shorts/jeans

                        Parents – shorts or jeans and Lindfield Polo and Cap (wet weather jacket if required)

 

6:00pm           Adults Party!!!!

                        Including stay at Hotel with Onsen

 

                         Kids Party

                         Children billeted in pairs with a ‘One Day Host Family’ (this will be a different Kawanishi family who will host for the                          single night)

           

Dress:             Boys Polo and jeans

                        Parents – Collared shirt

                        Officials - White Collared Shirt and Lindfield Tie

 

 

Wednesday 30 September

 

10:00am         Parents: Hiking to Minoh Waterfall (Minoh-shi)

 

                        Children: Craft Experience

 

1:00pm           Bus trip to Instant Ramen Museum (Ikeda-shi)

 

Dress:             Boys – Tour polo, Lindfield Cap, Jeans/shorts

                        Parents – Walking shoes, tour polo and Lindfield Cap (wet weather jacket if required)

 

Evening         Time and dinner with host family

 

Recommend early night!!!

 

 

Thursday 1 October

 

5:50am- 8:10pm       1 day Shinkansen round trip to Hiroshima (including lunch and dinner)

 

Dress:             Boys – Tour polo, Lindfield Cap, Jeans/shorts

                        Parents –tour polo, shorts/jeans and Lindfield Cap (wet weather jacket if required)

 

 

Friday 2 October

 

8am- 6pm      Bus Tour to Kyoto and Nara;

 

                        Todai-ji (Temple)

                        Fushimi-inari-taishe (Shrine)

                        Kiyomizu- dera (Temple)

 

Dress:             Boys – Lindfield Polo and cap, shorts or jeans

                        Parents – Casual yet conservative and Lindfield Cap. 

 

Evening         Time and dinner with host family

 

 

Saturday 3 October

 

9am-3:30pm Kawanishi Gala Day #3

                        vs Ashiya Rugby School

                        vs Minoh Rugby School

                        vs J-Fukuchiyama Rugby School
