MARCH PAST THIS WEEKEND! MARCH WITH THE BEST JUNIOR CLUB.
ANZ MARCH PAST REGISTRATION AND BOOKINGS CLOSE THIS MONDAY 18TH MAY @ 5PM.
Each year the Waratahs and NSW Rugby invite Junior Rugby Players, families and volunteers to participate in the Annual Junior Rugby March Past.
The 2015 Junior March Past will be held at ANZ Stadium prior to the Waratahs v Crusaders match on Saturday 23 May 2015. This is a great opportunity for our players to march on to the stadium before a Super Rugby game and they may even see themselves on the giant screens!
Tickets for the children marching are FREE. In addition, the Waratahs are offering a special discounted ticket price of $12 for all parents, family members and friends. Please refer to the instructions below on how to purchase supporters tickets and register your child/children for the March Past.
We will have designated club seating in one section together. Please note you need to be available to take responsibility for your children who are marching - by either marching with your children on to the field or being available to pick them up after the march past and sitting with them.
Junior clubs are also given the opportunity to bring banners and/or flags to display during their march, as the occasion offers a great opportunity to promote our club to the wider Rugby community. We will bring our LJRC Club banner for junior players to walk behind.
4:00pm – LJRC Bus leaves from Lindfield Station (on the Jazz Factory/eastern side).
5:30pm - 5.45pm: Marshalling of participants commences in Fig Grove, Dawn Fraser Ave, Sydney Olympic Park Homebush.
6:10pm: Movement from marshalling area to ANZ Stadium commences.
6:20pm: 2015 Junior March Past commences.
6.50pm: 2015 Junior March Past concludes – participants will be escorted to their seats.
